Your Five Year Old
Our Young 5s program is located at Heritage CRC. This location is only a few minutes away from the 12th Street Campus. This location provides our students with classroom spaces, a large outdoor space, a gym, and the use of the church sanctuary. Our quiet space allows students to ease into a full school day while being with children of their own age group.
We often say Young 5s is the gift of time for students! Your child will be encouraged to grow academically, socially, emotionally, physically, spiritually, and in independence! They will experience the love of God through daily Bible stories, prayer, and songs of praise.
There are 2 class options for Young 5s. Students must be 5 years old by December 31. Both classes are English.
* 3 Day: M/W/F 8:00-2:40pm
* 5 Day: M/T/W/R/F 8:00-2:40pm
*Children may be dropped off between 7:30-7:50 for before school care for no additional tuition cost.
*Once your child has turned 5 years old, they may ride the bus to and from school. There is a shuttle bus that runs from 12th Street to Heritage in the morning and from Heritage to 12th Street in the afternoon. This helps transportation for many families with siblings who attend 12th Street.
*Once your child has turned 5 years old, they may attend after care at 12th Street.

Young 5s Highlights:
*Chapel: We have high school students lead us in chapel and we sometimes ride the bus to join in elementary chapels.
*Buddy Groups: Our Y5s students are paired with another Y5s student in another class and we do fun activities together!
*Specials: Your child will have classes in music, art, technology, Spanish, gym, and library. Our teachers from 12th Street come over to Heritage!

*Special Programs for Christmas and Graduation
*Preschool events: Basketball buddies, Father’s Night, Preschool Picnic.
