Arts Program

Equipping, inspiring and challenging students to develop their God-given abilities for His glory.

Whether it’s with a paint brush or on a stage, students at Kalamazoo Christian Schools learn how to express themselves artistically and receive the instruction they need to continue growing their talents. 

The arts are led by our professional staff who give students the attention and caring environment they need to flourish.

Industrial Arts​

Industrial Arts classes are available to students in high school. All industrial arts classes are taught at our high school campus by our resident Industrial Arts teacher.

Performing Arts​
Performing arts at Kalamazoo Christian involves playing instruments, singing, dancing and theatre.

Students of all ages can get involved in music classes with performance opportunities. Performing arts extracurriculars begin in Middle School with performance and non-performance opportunities to develop their God-given, creative talent.
Visual & Graphic Arts
Students of all ages participate in Visual and Graphic Arts as a way to appreciate the arts and develop their God-given, creative talent.

They will walk away from their art classes at Kalamazoo Christian having learned artistic terminology, skills and techniques with a hands-on approach.
Industrial Arts​
Industrial Arts classes are available to students in high school. All industrial arts classes are taught at our high school campus by our resident Industrial Arts teacher.

These courses emphasize problem solving techniques that encourage students to think "outside the box" when coming up with solutions. Industrial Arts are hands-on courses, providing time for learning and passion projects.

Kalamazoo Christian High School invites you to experience the timeless story of the Von Trapp family in one of the most beloved musicals of all time. The Sound of Music tells the true-inspired story of Maria, a young woman whose joy, faith, and love of music transform a family—and ultimately help them face a changing world with courage and hope.

Featuring unforgettable songs like “Do-Re-Mi,” “My Favorite Things,” “Edelweiss,” and “Climb Ev’ry Mountain,” this classic production is filled with humor, heart, and powerful moments that resonate with audiences of all ages. Our talented KCHS students bring this story to life through engaging performances, beautiful music, and thoughtful storytelling.
