Melissa Baas

1st Grade Teacher, Elementary Lead Teacher

Serving since 2004.

Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Western Michigan University with minors in Early Childhood Studies and English.

Melissa loves teaching and partnering with families at KCS. She has three big rules that she tries to live by and teach her classes: 1. Love God, 2. Love Others, 3. Do Your Best. When she is not teaching at school, she leads the Children’s Ministry at Southern Heights Church. Melissa loves reading, traveling and exploring in God’s creation (especially walking the beach!) My husband and I have three daughters.
