Krista has a BA in music education from Calvin University with a continuing education endorsement from Western Michigan University and VanderCook College. She also has a background in Orff Level 1, Koday Level 1 and World Drumming Level 1 training. Krista was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI and taught K-12 music at Lenawee Christian Schools in Adrian, MI before coming to Kalamazoo. She loves her job at KCS and looks forward to sharing her experience and love for music with elementary students. Her goal is to give them musical skill that they can use moving forward.
