Johanna is from the Dominican Republic. She holds her K-12 Teacher Certification and a bachelor's degree in business administration. She has three children with her husband, Manuel.

She loves helping her students grow in knowledge and confidence. Teaching is not only about academics, but also about inspiring curiosity, kindness and a love for learning.

In her free time, Johanna enjoys running to stay active and traveling with her family. She attends Centerpoint Church in Kalamazoo, MI.
