Dawn spent the first nine years of her career teaching elementary. Then, in 2009, through a set of circumstances that she never would have predicted, she found herself in middle school – and discovered her people! Her students constantly push her to become a better person and teacher. She has a passion for Christian education, and one of the highlights of teaching her is that she gets to help kids discover the connection between their everyday life and their faith. For her, it’s not just about teaching the subject but teaching the whole student through the subject.
