After teaching in a self-contained 5th Grade classroom for eight years in Indiana, God put it on Dawn's heart to move back to West Michigan.

She holds a BA from Trinity Christian College and an MA in curriculum and instruction from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Dawn has always felt called to Christian education. Through a series of very providential circumstances, she ended up at Kalamazoo Christian. She is grateful for the opportunity to meld her faith and teaching everyday. She loves looking at stories through the eyes of faith and leading students to see how God uses stories to teach His truth.
