After teaching in a self-contained 5th grade classroom for eight years in Indiana, God put it on Dawn’s heart to move back to West Michigan. She came to KCSA as an elementary teacher, but soon found herself in the middle school. She wouldn’t change any of it! Dawn taught in 7th and 8th grade for many years, but has now circled back to 5th grade. She loves helping kids see Christ in their everyday lives and in the stories they read.
