When Dave graduated from WMU with his teaching degree in Industrial Arts, he had several schools contacting him to fill open positions. There were many openings all across the country with strong shop programs. He felt the Lord’s prodding to seek a Christian school to use his gifts. That’s when he found a part-time position at Kalamazoo Christian High School in the shop program as a result of a recent retirement. A year later he was offered a full-time position and his long career with KCHS had begun. Why not teach somewhere else? Hey… if it ain’t broke… don’t fix it! Loving it ever since!
