Carla holds a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and health education from Calvin University. She enjoys any activities outdoors such as hiking, volleyball, tennis, running and pickleball. She also enjoys reading and cooking. She was drawn to Kalamazoo Christian because she was looking for a Christian community where she would fit in well. She enjoys teaching students about how the body works and the many ways we can keep it healthy.
