Amanda attended Pella Christian Schools and graduated from Trinity Christian College. She returned to Pella Christian to teach for six years in sixth, seventh, and eighth grade language arts. After a hiatus from teaching to raise her children, God called her back to the classroom.

Amanda enjoys reading, arts, crafts, running, swimming and traveling with her family. She has loved Kalamazoo Christian Schools as a parent and working with the many amazing staff members and teachers. She and her family attend The Bridge.
