Laura has a BA from Wheeling Jesuit University and an MA from Penn State University. Her post-graduate work was in bilingual special education. She has taught English to native Spanish-speakers and Spanish to all ages in a variety of settings, from university, to pre-school. Laura has also taught Occupational Spanish with focus in three main areas: Medical Spanish, Law Enforcement and Business. In 2002, she and her husband founded Spanish Steps, a small publishing company which provides bilingual resources to schools and organizations.
