Brian earned his B.A. from Calvin University and his M.Div. from Cornerstone Seminary. He has taught Bible, World Geography, American History, Earth Science, Speech, Spanish, Logic, World Religions and World History in middle school, high school and college.

He is an author, writing novels for middle schoolers and high schoolers about spiritual warfare, life on earth before the Flood, and about the harmony between Scripture and science.

Shortly after the Lord saved Brian, he made the switch from public schools to Kalamazoo Christian, and that switch changed his life. Years later, as he was completing seminary, Brian realized the Lord had called him to teach.

Brian is a 1987 alum of Kalamazoo Christian High School and attends Radiant Church in Portage, MI.
