Ben holds a BS in Criminal Psychology and BA in Secondary English Education. With over 30 years of teaching and coaching experience, Ben is passionate about guiding students to discover the power and beauty of language. As an English teacher who loves great literature, he strives to help students become thoughtful readers, confident writers and lifelong learners.

Rooted in a deep love for the Lord, Ben approaches teaching with purpose, joy and a heart for encouraging every student to grow both academically and spiritually. He attends Radiant Church in Portage, MI.

Ben enjoys reading, walking his dogs and golfing.
