Depending on sport, our teams take part in Division 3 or Division 4 postseason tournaments put on by the MHSAA.
The Comets also play league competition as part of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SAC) Website: https://www.sac-mi.org/
What forms need to be completed to participate in athletics?
To compete in MHSAA athletics a student must have a completed Athletic Physical. We use FinalForms here at KCHS and students need to be registered and have a physical uploaded on file in order to practice or play an interscholastic sport. Toni Cramer (tcramer@kcsa.org) manages FinalForms for KCHS and can help with any questions.
What is the athletic transfer policy?
A transfer student is not immediately eligible in a sport played last year unless the student meets one of the 14 exceptions and falls within one or more of 40 interpretations outlined by the MHSAA. Further clarification can be had by contacting the athletic office.
