Tyler holds a Bachelor's Degree from Dordt University in Elementary Education, Middle School Math and Science Endorsement and a Master's Degree from Dordt University in School Leadership.

Before being at Kalamazoo Christian Tyler was a teacher at Pella Christian Grade School and Lead Administrator at Traverse City Christian School.

Tyler enjoys time with his wife and four children, hiking, trips to Lake Michigan, board games and all things Minnesota sports. Him and his family attends The Bridge in Portage, MI.

He works at Kalamazoo Christian School because he believes in the mission of "equipping, inspiring and challenging students" and in supporting students in their faith and learning. Tyler's seen the impact Christian education throughout his own life and believes it is a lifelong gift, one that shaped him deeply and one that he now has the privilege of helping provide for our students.
