Jonni is a lifelong Comet. She holds a BS in education including minors in science, math, english and early childhood from Western Michigan University. She was hired in 2004 as a part time kindergarten teacher at East Christian Elementary. In a few years she was teaching full time. She moved into the middle school in 2019.

She wants to be part of the partnership between church, school and family to raise generations of children who make an impact on the world for Christ.

Jonni enjoys reading, camping, going for walks, gardening and watching her girls play sports. Her husband and herself both attended Kalamazoo Christian Schools. Their family attends Centerpoint Church in Kalamazoo, MI.
