Tuition & Affordability
A high-quality, Christ-centered education is one of the best investments you can make in your child’s future, and making that investment affordable is a top priority for our leadership.
We use FACTS to charge tuition and fees. Books and technology fees are covered in our tuition! At the time of enrollment, we’ll invite you to select a payment plan (monthly, bi-annually or annually).
Tuition is based on the cost of education. In our efforts to be attainable to anyone who desires Christ-centered education, we do offer financial aid for those who qualify.

Second Impressions Grant

Financial Aid
TRIP
The Second Impressions Grant is available to apply to every K-12 student’s tuition; however families may choose to decline this grant to help make Kalamazoo Christian tuition more accessible for other families.
After submitting an admissions application, you are eligible to apply for Financial Aid, which opens on February 1 (Check back for the link then.).
You will be required to submit tax returns and a recent W-2 to FACTS, an independent service used to calculate level of need and to determine eligibility for financial aid at KCS. FACTS charges a $45 fee for this service at the time you submit.
Variable Tuition
Kalamazoo Christian Schools offers a range of tuition rates. Variable Tuition allows families to apply for a reduced tuition rate based on their unique financial situation.
What is Variable Tuition?
A reduced tuition rate that is dependent on each family’s unique financial situation. Variable tuition is available for students in grades Y5-12 and requires an annual application to Financial Aid via FACTS, our need assessment tool. The final reduced rate is determined by KCS’s Financial Controller and is reflected in each family’s tuition account. Variable tuition rates reflect the deduction of the Second Impressions Grant. There are also additional ways to reduce your tuition like TRIP. Parents who do not wish to receive any grants or discounts may choose to decline the grant or discount, and that amount will be added to the funds available for Financial Aid, which helps other KCS families.
What is Full Tuition?
What is the True Cost of Education?
This is the actual amount it costs to provide Christian education. Those who pay the true cost of education will receive a tax-deductible receipt for the amount above the published Full Tuition rate. Contact the KCS Association Office for more information.
