The Kalamazoo Christian School Association's Tuition Reduction Incentive Program (TRIP) is an exciting opportunity to accumulate credit toward tuition obligations and help fund the KCSA Tuition Assistance. Since you already shop at many participating merchants, doesn't it make sense to enroll in TRIP and reduce your tuition cost at the same time?
Through TRIP, bulk quantities of gift certificates from grocery stores, restaurants and many other businesses are purchased at a discount. The certificates are then sold to participating families at face value, with the discount passed on in the form of a tuition credit.
You don't need to have a student enrolled in the Kalamazoo Christian Schools to participate. Some families have even paid for their entire first year of school by enrolling in TRIP before their child even began preschool or kindergarten!
Registrants may direct tuition credit they earn to their own personal account, the account of another family, to the KCSA Tuition Assistance Fund, which provides need-based tuition assistance awards to current families, or to another Christian School in another city.
TRIP participants may also place orders for relatives or friends. Family and friends may register tor their own TRIP account, and they may designate one or more families to receive the credits for the entire year.
A percentage of the bulk discount is retained for operating costs and the Tuition Assistance Fund. Discounts vary, so the amount of tuition credit received also varies. The percentage listed after each merchant on the TRIP order form is the amount actually credited to your tuition account.
