Since the inception of Kalamazoo Christian Schools, our supporters have helped to maintain our operating budget by making financial gifts. These gifts – which make up our Annual Fund – do a number of things for our schools. Most importantly, the Annual Fund helps to reduce the amount of tuition that must be paid by the parents of our students. However, these funds also help to support a number of other costs associated with running our schools, including:
- Financial aid
- Program enhancement
- Fine arts
- Salaries and benefits
- Building maintenance
There are numerous ways to give to our Annual Fund. The single largest source for this fund is the Fall Phone-a-Thon. We also hold special events like the Goodwill Bowl and the KCSA Classic golf outing each year. Other contributions come from church offerings, memorial gifts, appeals for the fine arts and athletics and through unsolicited donations. Each and every one of these gifts is greatly appreciated by the entire Kalamazoo Christian Schools community.
The Annual Fund is collected for each school year between September 1 and August 31. Any additional funding needed has to be raised by the end of the school year. The Annual Fund does not provide financing for new building projects or debt payments on existing facilities. Pledges and non-cash gifts, such as stock or property, are also accepted.
If you would like to donate to the Annual Fund you may do so through our secure donation page.
